My Compensation Video

This week i have done a work on how to use Compensation. I have made a D.L.O. To use Compensation you have to take away from the number you have and add it to the number you are trying to add to. I have a video for you to watch .

My Awesome Piece Of Art!

This term we have been focusing on an art work. It is a self portrait of our self.The artist we are learning about is Frida Kahlo.

 First we had to take a picture of our self and print it out in black and white. After that we had to colour it in. Step 2 we had to get a piece of acetate. Acetate is clear piece of paper. Step 3 we had to colour in the piece of acetate with sharpie makers.

My Awesome Biathlon

On the 14th of March we had a biathlon. We had to run around the court 2 times if you did not have a bike or scooter. The people that did had to do it 4 times. After we did that we had to run around the field 2 times. I was coming first but then a girl named Hazel got in front of me. But before the year 6’s could go, the years 2's to 5's went. So it went like this 5’s, 4’s, 3’s, 2’s, 1’s and then the year 6’s could go. We only had to wait half an hour.  After the biathlon we went to go and play. I went to the library to play with the Lego from the school. Here are some photo's

The Magical Elgregoe

This first week of school has been a blast. Today my school watch Elgregoe. Elgregoe is a Magician he goes to all kinds of different schools, one of them is my school, Hornby Primary School. 

Elgregoe has a new assistant know his name is Ben he helped Elgregoe with all the things he needed for his show. My Favorite part of the show was when he made birds appear out of no where, it was really cool, I enjoyed myself. 

On Tuesday we started a art work for HELLO HORNBY. It were a whole lot of people come to Wycola Park on March. But before we colour our pictures we a practicing on an artist paint wheel.

At 2:30 my class went to buddy reading, buddy reading is were we help little children with there reading. My buddy is Nevaeh here is some photo's.
