📃SEXXY Paragraph📃

 Kia Ora and welcome back to my blog, today I will be sharing with you what we have been doing for English the past 1-2 weeks. We have been working on writing a SEXXY Paragraph and doing or Conflict Or Chaos slides. A SEXXY Paragraph is about one thing either between Person vs Person, Person vs Self, Person vs Society, Person vs Nature. Here is my work:.....

SEXXY Paragraph

At the start of the film Hunt for the Wilderpeople, Ricky one of the main characters and Bella his Aunt have an amazing relationship with each other. When Ricky arrived at Uncle Hec and Bella, Bella had a really good relationship with Ricky because she personally wanted to have a kid to look after. Ricky and Bella absolutely adored each other.  Ricky told Bella about how he makes Haikus about who he's feeling. They also both plucked out the fur from possums. They both had really good memories with each other but sadly Bella dies and Ricky runs away so that Paula the female police lady doesn't take him away from Uncle Hec. They both adored Bella and carried her ashes to Waitakere Ranges to scatter her. In the end of the movie she is still loved.

have been learning how to be a good friend to our self and to

I have practised being a good friend to someone else by helping

them when their upset. Also by including them and making them

Happy.

I have been a good friend to my self by when I am upset taking

time to myself, and having me time but also having time with my

friends.

Being a good friend does show respect because if you are a

good

friend you are having more people being happy and if you are a

good friend you are respecting them so they will respect you

back.

🫀Heart Dissection 🫀

 Kia Ora and welcome back to my blog today I will be talking to yous about what my class and I did for Biology. Today for Biology we dissected a sheep heart. 

The first thing we did was we got all the tools and trays that we needed. We needed 3 tools a scalpel, tweezers, and a pair of scissors we also got one metal tray. Once we got everything we needed we then started to cut the heart, we started on the left side of the heart and looked inside. We then cut the right side of the heart and had a look. Once we cut both sides of the heart we then cut the heart down the middle/cut it in half. 

When we were cutting up the heart we got to see that the heart had a thin layer of muscle (left) and the other side was a thick layer of muscle (right). After we seen the difference between the muscle we also saw the Valves on both sides of the heart I know they were valves because they are shaped like triangles and a nearly clear with no blood running through them. 

We also saw the arteries of the heart there was more then 2 of the arteries that we saw. I knew they were arteries because they were tubed shaped at the the top of the heart.

I think that it was disgusting but I still really enjoyed it.

Kia Ora this is what we have been  doing for Drama on Mondays, this is my drawing of a story that the teacher read. I cant remember what the book was called.

Freeze Frames

Today for drama we also did our freeze frames for the photos above. For a freeze frame you need to hold it for 

5 seconds at a time, you also need to make sure that each person is in a different level as each person for example one person could be standing straight and one could be knelling or something like that. 

 

In this photo you can see that there are different levels and different poses.

'The Bully'

We have also learnt about what it feel like to be bullied. We watched a video about a girl/people that look different. The video that we watched was made by a 12 year old that has had bullies because of what she looked like. 

Some of the words that she used was attacked, Fat, Stupid, Dumb etc.
