Kia Ora and thank you for reading my blog.Today I will be talking to you about what my class did for Hurumanu today. Today my class was looking at how to make movement and a chorus for acting.we are learning how to do all these because in week 8 we have a performance. Anyway, I was in a group with Risha, Jullein, Herald and myself. Today my whole class made a video in seperate groups. My group did ours about eating healthy. My group had lots of speech but not much movement.

Drama Lesson With Whare Joanne & Miss Towzer 😄😄

This week for the 2nd part of HURUMANU my class and TZ have been looking at Drama. For period 2 we were looking at freeze frames. Freeze frames are when you stand in an action doing something like something physical, emotion, mental just good things for your well-being. I was in a group with Felicity, Shekinah-Mae and myself.

Hi and welcome back to my blog. Today I will be telling you about what my class has been working on for the past 3-4 days. My class and I have been working on making a video, dance, song or a skit to show 1 out of 4 values. My group made a video. In my group I have Ella, Ashton, Bryce, Josh and myself. My group and I were working on COMMITMENT.

My group I think did really well working together especially when we were writing our brainstorm, because we all got stuck into it and came up with ideas together. My group was very successful because we made our video and completed it nicely.

SLJ Prep 5, Last Session!😊😊😊

Hi guys I am here to talk to you about our last SLJ Prep Session.

For this session we had to make a goggle drawing or a presentation to put famous landmarks from our country . I have made a goggle drawing about my country (my country is Canada). I have chosen Niagara Falls and Canadian Rocky Mountains. I have put three facts beside my pictures here is my goggle drawing.

S L J Practice. Country Videos NZ & Canada 😀😀😀

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog. I have been doing some activities for Summer Learning Journey. This activity is only a prep for it. 

The activity that we have been told to do is watch a video from our countries and write a blog post about it. We have to rate it out of 5 starts and write a good thing and a bad thing about it. My country is Canada.

I have watched my video and rated it 3 because at one stage the picture was blurry. 

One thing that I didn't like was that it was blurry.

One thing that I did like was that they spoke English and that I could understand them. 

I have found a YouTube video for you from New Zealand, here it is.

.This video is a reward challenge for Survivor NZ. Here is what they have to do they have to go out into the water and get a sand bag from a buoy and come back and put it on a plank, then jump on the plank and then try and get it into a net.

Technology Plastic Reduce!

We are Learning To... design and recreate a food package that will reduce waste.

The problem with plastic is that most of the plastic is going into to ocean and killing sea animals in the New Zealand and world wide Environment. The most conman animal that is dieing is Turtles. They are dieing because they think that the plastic bags are jellyfish and they go to it and start eating it.

So my class is planning an idea of there own about how we can reduce plastic in our lunch boxes. We had to chose what we wanted to recreate and make it. 

I am recreating a container, here is my design.
