Importance of NZ History 😁

Kia Ora and welcome back to my blog. Today I will be talking to you about what I have learnt/worked on for this week in Who Are We. Who Are We is about the history of NZ  and why it is important to learn about it in school.

I have completed a task about a book named Six Photographs. Six photographs is about  six photos that were taken in the 1870. Basically once we red the book we took the information and put it onto a document and wrote about the photo.

Learning NZ History is important because you need to know what happened before you or your family came along, because as I said you may not know that Maori was actually the first culture in NZ.

I can teach other about work that doing by sharing information that have been shared with me by making DLO, adding videos, pictures, and my work that iv'e done.

100 word challenge

Kia Ora and welcome back to my blog. Today I will be talking/sharing with you what I did in HR (home room). Today the classes challenge was to do a 100 word challenge about a Polar bear and a man touching a truck. I have written my story and finished it so I will be posting it/sharing it on my blog.

100 Word Challenge 

It was a cold day in the Arctic, I got out of my truck to check what that noise was.
I turned around and saw a polar bear, all I got to say is I was TERRIFIED.
I ducked to the height of my truck so that the bear wouldn’t see me. I stood at
the back of my truck and looked over, as I was looking over the top of the truck
I made eye contact with the bear. I held in my scream and got in my truck. I
waited for the bear to go and drove home.

Paper Boy

Kia Ora, today I will be sharing my summary and DLO about chapters 4-6. The book I will sharing is Paper Boy. My DLO is about Little Man and Mrs Worthington. In the DLO there will be a paragraph about the people.

Here is my summary

Summary

In this book, a young boy with a stutter takes over his friend Rat's paper route while Rat is visiting his grandparents. The young boy struggles with his stutter to such a degree that he is frightened for Friday, collection day, to come around.
