๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ“Learning Story - Healthy Living/Statistics ๐Ÿ“๐ŸŽ

Kia Ora and welcome back to my blog today I will be sharing with you my learning story form HUR6 Healthy Lifestyles. Healthy Lifestyles was about obviously about living healthy but one side was Statistics. My favourite part about this Hurumanu was the Statistics because I love math but I liked doing Healthy Living too.

Here is my Learning Story:....

My Learning Story
Hurumanu: HUR6 Healthy Lifestyles
Name: Tasharn Rich
Teachers: DS
Term 3
2020

Reflection:
Give at least three examples in each of the boxes below.
What We Did:
  • A DLO about how sleep affects your body
  • Lunch Box Challenge
  • Looked at/ Analyzed covid/smoking data
What I Learned:
  • What a healthy diet should be
  • How to calculate Mean, Median, Range and Mode using google sheets
  • We also learnt about graphs
My Favourite Part:
  • One was when we made our DLO’s about Sleep and how much hours a teenager needs each night
  • I also enjoyed playing Prodigy and banqer for the Statistics side
  • But my favourite part of it was when we did our lunchbox challenge because we got to search through shops online and see how much the prices are.
My Next Steps:
  • My next step for statistics is probably to make different types of graphs for different data.
  • I also need to work on focusing on my work
  • Last things would probably have to be to try harder things because I need to challenge myself.

CARR Values:
Make a statement below describing how you showed each of our CARR values during this Hurumanu.
Commitment
I think I committed to this Hurumanu because I got all my work done and I made good decisions about how and where I sat.
Achievement
I think I achieved my goal in this hurumanu because my goal was to learn something different on google sheets.
Resilience
I think I was resilient because I helped myself work out what everything added up to.
Respect
I think I respected everyone in this hurumanu because when I got told to do something I did it and I also respected my group that I worked with.
