Sporty Athletics

This week we have been practicing for Athletics. For Athletics we had to do Long Jump, High Jump, Discus, Shot Put, Sprints, Long Distance Run. I was very nervous to vs the fast people, like Evelyn, Lyan, Alexis, Brooke. I came 2nd place in the Long Distance Run and High Jump, I felt happy that I came 2nd. My Favorite part of the day was trying my best.

I think my goal next year is to paste myself in the Long Distance Run and practice for High Jump.

  2. Hey Tasharn,

Happy New Year! I am Jade C from the Summer Learning Journey blogging team 2017-2018. I will be blogging with you this summer! I hope you are having a wonderful time with your friends and your family!

I liked reading your Athletics day reflection and I hope you had a lot of fun! :) It's amazing to hear that you came 2nd in both long distance running and high jump! I used to be scared of high jump, because cannot jump high and also I was scared that I might land on the bar and get myself injured. However, even though I was scared, I tried my best in all sports area. I really like your last sentence "My Favourite part of the day was trying my best." because at the end of the day that's what counts the most!

I would love to read more of your blog and comment on them! To help you get started with blogging this summer, I have included the link to our Summer Learning Journey activities list.
